This risograph printed zine was originally created for a Jewish education program at Riker's Island. It supplements the text of the traditional Jewish morning blessings with reflections on what it means to be made in the image of God, how to relate to gratitude when things are difficult, and more. Each page is enlivened by illustrative elements drawn from Jewish amulets and manuscripts digitized by the Bezalel Narkiss Index of Jewish Art.
8.5x5.5 booklet, 16 pages. Half of the cost of each zine sold will be donated to the Matir Asurim Jewish Care Network for Incarcerated People.
