I've always loved this Wallace Stevens quote, and it seemed like a fitting slogan for my time at the Penland School of Craft, where Amos Kennedy's "Intro to Bad Printing" class challenged me to fall in love with the imperfections and imprecisions of letterpress.
The first version of this poster has a background layer of broken type underneath words printed in silver: "shatter, sink collapse, fail, splinter", and so on. The second version is more abstract, with undulating pressure-printed shapes in shades of blue, pink and green.
Each poster is a little different : please indicate via a note if you prefer a certain color. Otherwise, I'll pick one out that I think you'll love!
