The term T4T originated in Craigslist personal ads, a way for trans women to seek out other trans women for sex, dating, and community building. Its meaning has since expanded to include trans solidarity and mutual aid in a larger sense - though the specific nuance of trans people loving and desiring other trans people is still very much present!
